After just over an hour’s drive we got to the zoo. Once you get in, there are a number of animal handlers with various birds and reptiles hanging around. After tea we headed down do the tv and watched some films. We were there for a while, until my laptop ran out of battery. Went to the room and Ari went for a shower, I then went and managed to forget my towel! Had to use my t-shirt to dry off!

We woke up to the sound of rain pattering gently on our tent. I guess with coming up to six weeks of camping behind us, we should count ourselves lucky we've had so very little of it so far. We decided to see if it would clear up a bit as doing a few walks in the rain wasn't overly inviting, so Marc made us some eggy bread for breakfast and we took our time over it.

While we are at Bondi Beach my mate Tim's younger brother, Jonny had been in touch to say he was in Sydney and would be up for meeting for a beer. As it happens we were already in a bar, we had returned to the Bucket List on the promenade which is where we spent most of the early afternoon.
