    ... to pick us up this morning and take us and our luggage to the next stop 1.5 hours drive away! For no charge! Very kind! The driver dropped us off where our starting point was and then he took the luggage to our accommodation. After an email from a friend suggesting we use GPS and me replying "don't be silly that would take the fun out of the walk" I actually did that on wifi before I left and when we were exhausted at end of walk ...

    Tough day today. This afternoon, 2 hours were spent in the spa resort attached to the hotel which was inclusive in our accommodation as was the free cocktail drink Vicki and I had last night but best not to go there! Vicki also managed to loose herself in treatments for another 2 hours... She slept through them all but she looks great!! BUT we deserved it. Took off early to do the hike but it was ...

    ... the ticket who would get dragged off to gaol.... 20 minutes later arrived at our destination, Hotel Approdo on the water in San Marco. Great position. Except the rules....no use of the swimming pool between 2-4 pm as siesta time but then it can be used from 4-6pm ...whoopy do! But there is the hotels private beach on the other side of the pool with steps into a seawater pool. Frustratingly hardly any internet...how we get ...

    ... We followed the directions to the first village then followed yellow arrows as directed (felt I was back on the Camino when we weren't lost!) . Who knows where and how we went wrong but ended up through olive groves on very faint overgrown track climbing through brambles ( just a few scratches here and there) obviously on private land - lots of spider webs but I fixed that...Vicki loves to go first!
