Yesterday left Positano. We took a shuttle to Salerno then picked up a car from Avis. The coast road from Positano to Salerno was truly breathtaking and the driver quite friendly and tried to explain a few sights along the way. Headed south and stopped at some Greek ruins in Paestrum which dated back to BC. Weather a little cold and rainy or we probably would have stayed longer. Took the scenic root to Marina di Camerota. Stopped at Bascillicata and had a late lunch at a little pizzeria. ...

... Valle della Ferriere then home to Sorrento by fast boat - great views of the dramatic cliffs.
Day 3 With Kellie in tow we took off to the lovely Positano and caught the little boat for Ristorante Da Aldolfa where we lunched in a beautiful secluded cove. ... of the season, but all they had in this quaint little shop was garbage! We left quickly/quietly, and very disappointed. Back on Milena, we enjoyed cocktail hour, before Jacques served an excellent carbonara for dinner. ... was beyond creepy. Why were they there? Each pair was tied together. I sifted through some of the other items, searching for clues. Inside a purse I found a canvas calendar dating 1980. That’s about the only clue we got, and the cave and shoes would forever remain a mystery.


In another cave home, there were empty water jugs, solutions, and a newly cemented tub… someone had been making large quantities of drugs there. ...
