... br> Made it to the train station in good time, found our train and seats and had an uneventful trip to Salerno, We took the taxi to our "youth" hostel ;-) and was so glad we did. I had walking directions but there is NO WAY we would have found it our first time here.... was very happy to pay a driver to navigate the way here. ... speed of talking and dialect were difficult for us to unserstand, it was rather difficult! We then went for a walk along the seafront and into the town centre to see what restaurants would be available for dinner..........thankfully there appeared to be a choice of 2 or 3. On our return to the hotel we were met by the owner who confirmed that their restaurant would not be open for ...

... through and still haven't really got a feeling of her personality. It's all a bit superficial, a point that the author makes as an apology but it doesn't really help. Of course no journey is possible without its delays and this was no exception, as with that long arduous journey a week ago, we had a long delay at Salerno, sitting on the train that was to complete our journey. Once it got going, some 70 minutes later, it did move quite fast and hugged ...
