A nice hotel. We dined in the bistro as other eating places were not in the immediate vicinity. On a bus route and 2 blocks from Portobello Beach. Internet access at reception.

Hit the Scottish boarder on top of a hill & you just about got blown off & the wind was freezing. Then a piper turned up in his Kilt. These guys have no feeling. Then onto …

We are in Scotland an unchanged nation still part of the United Kingdom!! Dad and I woke up to this exciting news with a 55% opposition to the idea of being independent. We went on the Royal Yacht Britannia and was very interesting and are now trying to find a good place for a warm lunch as it is cold, wet and foggy outside. Miki Da Mouse

If you don't get this title you must be living under a rock because its everywhere; the Scottish Referendum. Scotland are voting today to see whether they want to be an independent country. We have had a day full of history in the making! Today we also went to Edinburgh castle and saw absolutely nothing at the top because it was so foggy! But we …

Potential prizes were 3 for a line, 6 for a house and the big one.... 15 for a flyer. When you're 12 that's a small fortune, and bingo night just so happened to be the same night as the chip van parked up outside the bus shelter so we all knew what we were playing for. I used to sit at the table, sweating quite a lot while I struggled with my biro and one book, surrounded by old ...
