... It was supposed to open at 10:00, so we hung around for a little while, but nobody showed up. It is a Sunday morning, they must have slept late, or gone to church. Next door was what looked like some sort of Route 66 Museum, but it was also closed with no signs of life nearby.

... t leave until about 4 when I went out for a walk!. Tonight we met three couples from Renegades for dinner. On the way "home" we thought it was starting to rain because something was hitting the windshield. Turned out it was bugs, lots and lots of bugs. They almost covered the windshield. Not sure what we will be doing tomorrow, but thinking of driving down to Longview and Kilgore. We'll make that decision tomorrow morning.
Next day we walked all day, down the Champs Elyssei and found a lovely café and enjoyed lunch French style.
The highlight was "Moulan Rouge", what a show, the meal was lousy and the seating tight but the show was magnificent, bought the brochure.

... Roma’s for Italian food and socializing. Cristian and Bethanie picked us up from the lot and we ended up at a table with the Loyals and the Fuscos. Cristian and Armando entertained us with funny stories about past shows they’ve done and Dominick interjected with his own stories. We laughed and ate wonderful food and had a really great time.

Right. A quick Google search tells me most of it was actually shot in Marathon, Texas, which is a cool 600 miles South West from here. I should have known better.
