... that state we didn't see them anymore. We weren't sure if they are manufactured there or what. Will have to do some research.
In less than eight hours driving we will be on Ohio soil. Do we sound excited? We are NOT ready to do another long trip to the west coast real soon.

Day 15
... We felt very out of place. We stopped into the university area to do laundry and couldn't wait to get out of there. The kids didn't seem to feel the urgency that Hugh and I felt, the outskirts of a big city scares the heck out of me. As a teenager, I was able to fly with my dad to Chicago once. I'm sure I see things differently now.

We are at the Peoria airport in the terminal, waiting for our flight to Chicago. The guy at the check-in counter said that the flight to Chicago is already at risk because of weather conditions at O'Hare. I guess inbound flights are not allowed in right now.
