      ... 8211; as a holiday
weekend & Sat the toughest night to get a room, am spending the night on
      the bus!

Was a frustrating wait as took over an hour just to leave
town but at least no too crowded – unfortunately had the noisiest selfish
neighbours, lowering seats to the max, shouting down mobiles at silly times,
******* and letting the foot rests bounce back onto my seat at full velocity.

We were not looking forward to our 30 hour flight to Buenos Aires but in fact it wasn't so bad. Flying with Emirates made it a lot easier, we were fed like kings and queens! In that 30 hours I only managed 30 minutes of sleep so the last leg of our flight was a challenge!! Must have watched about 10 films!

We arrived in Buenos Aires around 9pm and was checked in to our hostel and asleep by 10pm. We were going to be in BA ...

... had started enforcing my rule that if I don't know the Spanish word for something I want I can't buy it; I am hoping this will help me improve my vocabulary. I made soup and chickpeas (garbanzos) for lunch. I befriend an Argentinian who didn't speak any English. Google translate is a dream. He took me to a water tower with great view of the city. After we hung out at the hostel having a few beers before my bus. I got the hostel called me a taxi. The taxi was an unmarked one without ...

... when I said I was gonna walk was very shocked; he said my backpack was the weight of another person. Two km later (without even getting lost) I check in. I noticed two bruises on my arm from putting on my backpack, it may be a bit too heavy. Juan said this was the hostel he stayed at when in town; he mentioned it wasn't the best, but did the trick. I met a few of the people staying at the hostel and none of them spoke English. I went out ...

First day of being a tourist along (having to read the map). Before I journey out I had breakfast which was probably the best so far. After I was done eating I called my granny because she jut got home from surgery. Nacho the guy working at the hostel gave me a map and told me the best places to check out, so off I went. My first stop was to walk out on a pier 'there's nothing special about it but you feel like you're in the middle of the ocean.' I walked along the sidewalk beside ...
