We departed Grand Lake RV and Golf Resort near Citra this morning at 9 a.m. We spent yesterday and two nights in that park and is my favorite thus far. The majority RV'rs of the park are winter full time residents and our location was on the fairway of the 9th hole of this small 9 hole course. Homer the Sat Nav took us towards Miami on the highway, missing the lower road, so I tried to follow my nose only to take a wrong turn. Several back roads later we found the right road and were cruising through the Everglades. We chose a small ...

... We visited for the first time Memorial Day Weekend 2012 and stayed at the Colony Resort which was very nice and walking distance to the beach. This trip, we ended up booking two hotels. We decided to head over to the West Coast Friday after work but couldn't justify spending a lot of money since it would just be for a few hours.
