Lucaya, Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas hecqs... mine for free.

We ended our night in Florida by eating at Nik’s favorite place: Red Lobster. Where he had the Ultimate Feast and he ate it ALL! I ate half of mine and I was sick the next day, not good when you are travelling. Who would have thought that I would have had to actually use my anti diarrhea medicine while still in good ole USA.
Freeport, Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas worldtraveler2... When we opened the bag, we were hit by a terrible stench and lots of little black flies. That probably wouldn't have made it through customs, so we ditched them and bought two freshly cleaned souvenier shells for $5 at the pier. After a great dinner, we saw a comedian named Rich Purpura. He was hilarious! Looking forward to hopefully getting to snorkel on Nassau tomorrow and breathing in a lot less smog. Enjoy the pictures! Love, Becky and Mike

We dried off and put our shoes back on. Ben led us down a different path and pointed out various trees, plants ...

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas dinojay2... Rae and I will head back to the B&B where Tuaca's staying again tonight and try and get a nap in. (And here I was under the silly impression that I'd actually sleep on my vacation.) Thanks for reading my little ramblings - they've been a challenge to articulate (and even more to send (internet access on the boat has been frustratingly spotty and ridiculously expensive) but a great way to capture a little of the experience. Looking forward to the next one!
Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, United States remWe left St Louis via plane and flew to Miami. From Miami we flew on a very small twin engine plane to Freeport Airport FPO. It was a bumpy ride but very short luckily. We arrived, got off the plane on stairs (same way we got on) and walked to the airport. Once there we checked through customs and made our way outside where we caught a taxi to our car ...
