... Taj Mahal. We had been discussing what our reactions would be since we had seen so many pictures of it and so on. Don't worry it's still priceless to go there! The craftsmanship is indescribable and how in the world they manage to build that around 1630 is something i will never be able to understand. ... war es ein schöner, entspannter Ort. Das erste was mir beim Umherstreifen auffiel, waren die Gerüche. ... first glimpse, i (have since) found it to be, in a way, quite unindian. For a sense or organization, i felt, lies under the disorganization...the latter being very characteristically indian.

but here is where the journey began. A life on the road is like none other and the next 65days, i anticipated, would be like a rollercoaster journey through the indian subcontinent.
