A travel blog entry by missvidalia

This is a lovely, quiet campground beside the white river. I was the only RV and my section which was next to a side stream. I walk the loop as it began to sprinkle, so I returned to the RV and had supper. A major lightning and thunderstorms began about midnight and lasted till 230. We ate at a brewery called Granite City. Blake had a tasting plate of the brewerys beers and we both had steak for dinner. For dessert we ordered a fresh baked cookie... it was the ...

... Each time the longing inside me was tugged a bit more. I made a decision that when I finally finished graduate school, it would jump to the top of my travel list and I would work hard to make the trip happen.

Graduation came, and so did talks of the trip. Potential travel buddies surfaced and we scanned through potential sights and trip itineraries. I tend to travel on my own, without a plan or a schedule. I find it freeing. Yet, I ...
