    ... sunscreen, and sat in beach chairs by the water. The water felt good, but was like bathwater. There was a good amount of seaweed in the water, and the waves were nice. We enjoyed relaxing and chatting all day.

    Met the guys at Doc's Restaurant for dinner. Had tropical drinks (Piņa Colada, Mai Tai) and delicious seafood. There was a singer there who played lots of Fleetwood Mac, Eagles, etc. The sunset was beautiful out over Laguna ...

    Bountiful wildflowers are a high point of being in Texas while they are getting rain. I wish we had been able to stop and take photos of the fields that were totally lavender, pink, yellow or white. But the roads are narrow and the RV is a little wide (and John drives way to fast!).     ... way to end a fantastic trip.

    In San Antonio the "girls'" menfolk were happy to claim them and the grandson reluctantly gave Gran back her vehicle. With a big bag of trail mix and a large Dr. Pepper for supper, I hit the road for Kingsville where my sweetie husband was also happy to welcome me.

    ... We had lunch of 2 ice teas, chicken sandwich, burrito, and nachos for $10.88, yes it was right unbelievable. The most expensive thing we had at lunch was the chicken sandwich a whole $2.75!!!! Walked around a little and off to the museum no photos allowed in there too bad some interesting things there.
