I wanted to stop at Jefferson City because there is another statue of Seaman on the State Capitol campus and it is a trip mission to find as many Seaman statues as we can. ... we were in Hannibal. I was thinking, we should be able to pick up something in Hannibal, it is a fairly large city! NOTHING!! We went to Walmart and ended up purchasing a cheap phone and some minutes to use while we are in this area. The young man who helped us got us connected and everything, so now at least we have a phone, still no internet and Bob is having trouble with the satellite, so not sure what we can do about that.

It's dawning on us that we really are doing this in just a month. I keep googling "TMB fitness level" hoping to find reassurance that my daily flat walks to and from work are somehow preparing me for mountain trekking. Google has not offered much reassurance as of yet.
