There are lots of campgrounds of various sizes and ...

With the river still in flood stage there were places where the water was only 2-3 feet ...

... 36. In less than an hour down the road, the terrain is as flat as can be. Such a change!

Beltway around Denver had no traffic and we got on Route 70 East at 7 AM- the highway that we will be on the rest of the trip!

7:20 AM - quick coffee, restroom stop.
Eastern Colorado is very flat, open farmland. Many windmills.
