      ... may take this the wrong way, but truthfully, I do believe the animals in China have it better than in Detroit. At least in Chinelong.

      Other things worth mentioning, Chimelong has the highest population of white tigers than anywhere on the planet with over 60. Throwing meats to them were easily the highlight of the trip along with the tiger show. Chimelong is home also to a number of pandas. Including to triplets born in the last year.       It seems we're having an Indian Summer here in China. After temperatures falling to 17 at night and low 20s in the day, this week we’re back up to a low of 24 and high 20s with humidity in the day.       ... a guy on a corner for help. With lots of pointing, he got us in the correct direction. We were relieved to finally find the Ramada Pearl Hotel and it was a beauty! English at the front desk, beautiful room on the 18th floor with a fantastic view of the river and buildings and the softest bed we've had in China!
