I still cannot believe how quickly time has flown by, especially with each day being packed with new things to explore and discover, but I am now in Canton, the last stop in our journey through the past. ... of some “veteran” teachers, we found some new food sources which will help – cream cheese and sliced ham. I made Blanche’s mushroom dip last night and it tasted soooo good!

We know the deep freeze has settled in at home and we’re shivering in empathy. At least there hasn’t been a lot of snow to shovel yet!

... we were safe. We had worked up quite a sweat by this stage and were more than ready to head across to the water park. It was only a few hundred meters away so we walked down and changed into our bathers. It was really amusing because you pay entry into the park but then you have to hire the tubes to go on some rides and the lazy river. We thought this was ridiculous that you had to pay more just to go on the rides and there were large lines with about 30-40 minute waits at ...

... and celebrations of the dragon boat festival on one of the smaller rivers (pictures attached).

Saturday evening I celebrated the festival with the boss and his family in his/our home. We had a home cooked meal and wine. It was really clear that it was a festival to enjoy with family and friends.
