It was too good to last.Everything had been working out so well and, as instructed, we were at Kathmandu Airport bright and early at 7am for our 10.00flight to Delhi. Due in at 11.30 it gave us a full 6 hours to catch the overnight train from Delhi to Jaisalmer which left at 5.30 this evening - we missed it!

The only unusual aspect was the level of security at the hotel. There were armed guards everywhere. Every car coming onto the property is searched. There was airport style metal detectors and bag screening. I guess after the Mumbai hotel attack, they don't take any chances anymore.
