    ... ice cave in the snow / glacier. It is a mountain cave. There are over 40km of caves within the system, but the first 1km is covered in ice due to a unique phenomenon. The cave is cooled by the freezing winds entering the caves in winter and the thaw water freezes as it trickles in, forming gigantic ice figures - 25 meters thick in parts. Getting there isn't easy.     ... hour away, we can try to come back and try again. On the descent, the rain started lightly to begin with. Some crazy cyclists were descending faster than cars and motor bikes could hope to achieve.
