Yesterday Scott and I got up around 10am, had some breakfast and headed to the PADI diving centre for Scott's first salt water dive! He was joined by 3 men from New Zealand who were also doing their first dive. All 5 of us plus the 2 instructors and 2 boat drivers headed out to sea. ... Mum I know what you will be thinking, we are fine, I promise). We didn’t get any hassle from hawkers, no one yelling at you to take their taxi ( because there are none one the island). The only transport are mopeds or little trucks operated by the boat companies to get people from the port to their hotels. The beaches are lovely but the currents are strong and when the tide goes out it goes far out.
