The location near Georgetown and American University has been convenient and full of things to do. Public transport by bus is right across the street - taking you anywhere in the city. The rooms are classically furnished, spacious, clean and updated. The desk personnel are hospitable and I'd say some of the best I've ever experienced anywhere. Since it is a small hotel you can drive up and check in. Such easy access. We like to stay and parking is convenient either in the garage or in a lot nearby (free). All parking used to be free - now an unfortunate change. Our room has refrigerator and free wireless. Some rooms have a great view. There is a terrace outdoors and sport fitness access which we haven't tried out yet. For our last stay we did enjoy the Sunday brunch. Excellent service.

Onze vlucht viel gelukkig mee.

Unfortunately we missed meeting up with him later as we got distracted by an internal tour of Capitol Hill. Our group tour guide was quite the history buff despite her young age and was amusing - seems to be a good combination for a tour guide. We thoroughly enjoyed learning about the ...

We got back around 1:30am - a nightcap , then Justin showed me around the main house.

It was OK for me - I could sleep in - but Justin had to be at work around 9:00am later that morning.

Had a great day and night in DC - with lovely people Justin & Bree.

... were, it was definitely chilly. Line-ups for hot food were over a half hour. By the end of the game, everyone in our group had moved to lower seats in the sun. The sunshine helped us endure the cold, but it was still on the chilly side. The Nationals scored 3 in the first inning, but lost 4-3, so it was exciting to the end for those who were watching the game.

From the air and space museum we headed to the national spy museum!
