Once back at Cedar Breaks, we built another fire and sat outside watching the end of the COLTS game and the beginning of the EAGLES game. Now I'm suffering the consequences since my nose is stuffy and my eyes are itching-cedar fever!! Oh well, some people just never learn.
Tomorrow we depart the company of the Georgetown RVers and head further north for the South Texas Renegades Jan Rally in Burleson, TX.
... the sun shining brightly. Not too cold, but with the wind blowing it was chilly. Didn't stay out long since my eyes started itching again. Cedar fever is still hanging around and I was walking under cedar trees so Now I'm paying for it. While walking toward the lake, noticed three trees laden with mistletoe. It was too high up to grab any, but did get a few good pictures.

... so decided I would stuff insulation in there and then we can add some decorative trim to cover it. Jim & Laura came over for dinner, we pooled our resources and Jim made fried rice. Everything was good, as usual, ate too much, but one day soon, I will begin to eat more sensible and lose some weight! After dinner, Bob and Jim watched a couple of movies while Laura was looking at the 31 catalog and I cleaned up the kitchen. All in all it was a nice ...
... and New Year's dinner. Once again we gathered around the fire and ate Gumbo, Black-eyed Peas,cornbread and various and. Sundry other items. All in all a good time was had by all. But by this time, with the cedar and all I was miserable, so I came back to "G/G" and drugged myself up. Bob stayed and visited for another hour or ...
... Most of the group was going out to eat but we and the Labowsky's decided we would eat in. We grilled chicken and fixed corn on the cob and Jim & Laura brought their ribs, mashed potatoes and sauerkraut so we had a buffet. We also had a good visit, just the six of us. The New Year's Eve party started about 6pm. Jim & Laura had started the fire and it was going big. There was no wind so we didn't have to worry about anything else ...
