A Wonderful Time!!
I just recently spent four night at the Killarney Towers Hotels(3-10 to 3-15) and, let me tell you, I can't wait to go again. I went on vacation with a tour group, from Waterbury, CT USA, and it was all that I dreamed it would be. Great staff, great traditional food, and entertainment nightly. It is practically in the center of all the great nightlife and the people were wonderful. From check in to check out It was pure joy. If you're thinking of staying in Killarney here is where you want to stay!! Fantastic job folks!!
My advice to anyone who comes to visit Ireland and wants to stay in Killarney is look no further than this superb Hotel. I am from Cork and go to Killarney regularly for weekends away. I have stayed in numerous hotels in Killarney and believe me when I say you will not find a better Hotel than this. It is suberb from the staff to the accomodation, you will recieve a warm friendly welcome and whatever your needs they will be looked after. Every time I leave this hotel I always say I will definately be back. Also for tourists to Ireland, this hotel is located directly in the centre of Kilarney.
I stayed at the Killarney Towers hotel in November 04 when I toured Ireland. It's a beautiful hotel, with a friendly staff and great food. But best of all, it has a wonderful bar where locals come and drink. There was a band playing Irish music while we were there. I would recommend it to anyone!
In February/March of 2000, we stayed at the Killarney Towers. It was so wonderful that we are going there again on February 25th.The general manager, Mr Frank McCarthy was most gracious and said he would be delited to have us back again. We're coming Frank. Most sincerely, Richard Reilly, Bristol CT
Excellent value and facilities
We have just returned from a 3-night stay at the Killarney Towers Hotel. We took advantage of a special offer that included 3 nights Bed and Breakfast and 2 Evening meals for 189euros per person sharing. It was excellent value. The room was large and airy, the sports and leisure facilities were excellent and the buffet food served at breakfast and in the evenings was very good if somewhat limited in choice (although it did include a really good 10oz Sirloin Steak one evening!). The hotel is located right in the centre of Killarney and I cannot imagine you will get much better value anywhere else in the area.
Have just returned from Killarney. Killarney Towers Hotel is a superb place to stay. The rooms are excellent and the food is of really high standard. The staff are very friendly too. In fact, everything to make your holiday one to be remembered.
Killarney Towers was one of the hotels on a Spectre Tour I have just returned from. It was absolutely fabulous and the employees were great.
It was just one of the wonderful memories I have brought back. I am looking forward to returning.
I`ll remember the....
Out of six hotels i stayed at on my ireland
holiday, the Killarney was the best. I`m not keen on buffet style food, but the food was that good i went back for more.
the service in the bar was great. As soon as i stood up to go for more drinks, a barman was there to take my order, and then he remembered what my group were drinking. now that is world class!
as an ex barman i know that no one likes to wait
for his drink ! And i didn`t at the Killarney
Towers. Over the years i`ve stayed at some very good hotels, but i`m going to remember this one !
One of the best
My wife her sister and husband and me, stayed at the
K.T.H. we was doing the Ring of Kerry tour.
The food was wonderful and we eat far more than
we should have , the porridge was super as was
all the food ,and the little chap who was in
charge of the dining room had us in fits of
laughter as he organized the timing for getting
your food.A very good comfortable hotel that
we look forward to visisting again one day
I stayed at this location for two nights in Nov 2001. I was traveling with my two brothers, three sisters and my mother in a tour group of 32 people. the location within Killarney is excellent and the meals were very good, except for the scrambled eggs served with breakfast. Their consistency was almost like s loose pudding and I did not even recognize them as eggs initially until assured by one of the chefs that the container was full of scrambled eggs. We also had no elevator during our stay and one morning no hot water. They apparently do not have very good systems to protect their customers from these type of problems. When I talked to the front desk personnel about these situations they did not seem very interested in apologizing for the problems. The room for the three of us was good with three single beds and reasonalby sized for us to manuever around.

Today was my first day travelling away on a bus tour - without being the one in charge. It wasn't that bad. The group has a lot of Americans, mostly retired, a few Australians, and a couple of other NZers. Nearly all are older than us. Pretty much as expected. The driver is pretty good, knowledgeable and easy to listen to .
Anyway, today …
We woke earlier than we expected, and had breakfast just before 9AM, then got on the road. Tom was very helpful in planning our route for the next couple days. He called ahead to a friend with a B&B in Killarney, the Oaklawn House. He said it was the nicest B&B in the country, and he called his friend Rosemary, the owner, to book our roo...
Today we decided to hike to the Gap of Dunloe. We had breakfast and then started our long hike. The Gap of Duloe is quite short, but getting there is a distance. We stopped at the tourist office on the way to our hike to plan a trip to the Skelligs this week. It's funny how the tourist office tells you to do everything by tour buses, I feel ...
