... delicious tea and icecream. The view was incredible, as it was situated on top of a giant mountain overlooking the fields of tea leaves. We met the others there and Spent a good couple of hours lounging around and talking. I truly enjoyed my iced Thai tea and chocolate icecream. I then shamelessly asked Donchai if he could take us to the temple where he spent a month practicing as a monk, so we piled into his green truck and went to see the tiny, off ...

... monkeys etc. i was so happy when it got light. Breakfast looked like porridge but was rice with little bits of chicken in. I didnt like it but tried it just to not seem rude. We trekked again 2-3 hours this time mostly through wooded areas. We were tired and achey and my left hand had gone swollen. Not sure if i had a reaction to something. We went to some hot springs and relaxed there for a bit. It was much needed. We were meant to go to a waterfall ...

... thin rice cakes. We sang and danced and had a great time. I am so glad that they let us be fully involved in everything that they did. They are very “we” oriented, and I am going to miss that mindset. However, I am going to try to incorporate that mindset into my life as much as I can when I get back.

I think it will be difficult doing this in America, because people are not as willing to be involved ...
