A lot of the traditions of the hill tribes are disappearing especially with the younger people wanting to stop wearing the traditional dress except for festivals and the like and also wanting to leave the land. While we saw 4 tribes there were more than a dozen different tribes in Thailand and there are problems that the Thai government needs to resolve over the way they farm the land etc.

... since it would lite up and play music.

We arrived with time to spare and watched as the crowd grew to watch a very nice sound and light show. After this we headed to my restaurant to eat and it was closed to so went elsewhere for some low end food, we then headed to a reggae bar and had a drink and listened to some great live music. We went for a walk looking for any other happening bar and found nothing. We ran into 3 Israel young women who were asking ...

We woke up early to get a head start on the day, went down to breakfast and discovered that the meal could have been from any number of American diners. We had fried eggs and homemade toast. Delicious! The first stop we made that day was to another temple, but this one was called the black temple. I would say that most of it was equally as creepy as the white temple we visited Saturday. The architecture was so different though. It reminded me of a ...
