... We only realized afterwards that this class was an Intermediate and not a Beginner’s class, but we survived.

We got home and settled into our normal daily routine. I finished and published the 14th week at around 17:00. Adri took a snooze while I visited the pool for a read and a quick relaxing swim, no gym swim this time around. After trekking over to Koh Samui to escape the full-on 'British summer' on Koh Lanta, we have just arrived under bright blue skies at the green oasis of calm that is (no idea how you say this one) Wazzah Bungalows. The bungalows are really just a half dozen stilt houses scattered across a small coconut grove, about a mile inland from the north coast of Samui. The houses all have bizarre curved rooves, with another smaller peaked roof perched on top like a ...

I always feel a bit nostalgic every time I leave another country. It's a bitter-sweet moment for me. Another country finished, a lot of memories, and excitement for the next journey. Thailand is a beautiful country with wonderful people and it provided me with a lot of great memories. Every evening out was eventful and filled with fun, new people. It was great to help break up some of the homesickness by meeting with Ange. Her and I had ...
