On saturday/Sunday we had our very very long journey down to the islands. I don't actually mind the travelling but it wasn't great this time. I got my first bug and was sick on the coach and almost fainted at the services :( but on the bright side I still slept pretty much the whole of the 20 hour coach/boat journey and got lots of compliments on my accuracy and attractive throwing up skills! My elbow, back and shoulders gradually became more painful and stiff as ...

... had a lunch. A note on the food at Vikasa, it's amazing. Almost no meat just some fish and eggs every so often. I don't think I've eaten, and enjoyed, so much fresh food in my life. I may never eat this healthy ever again. In the after noon we did the full primary series. This is over 2 hours of intense poses in the tropical heat. The next few days were much more routine. I'd wake up at 6:10 brush my teeth, shower. At 6:30 am I'd talk with Alexis for ...

Time for a 12 hour bus trip to Khanom overnight .. my first of many !
Arriving the next morning, having arranged to stay at a couple of English teachers place.... I was the centre of attention as the local moped riders vied for my cash to get me there.. After talking to a woman that seemed like the community leader.. there I was 7 am at a couple of Irish girls place. After some quick greetings, they were off to work, while I had a nap. Of ...
