... and I've arrived at Koh Phi Phi. Time to continue writing my blog!) After I had just arrived at the hostel, I met some really nice people. We travelled for a few days together. The first night at Koh Samui we went to a bar on the beach and had some drinks. For the next day we booked a day trip to Mu Ko Ang Thong National Marine Park. A national park consisting of some small islands with beautiful nature, and monkeys! After we arrived at ...

We ended up giving Lek a good tip to keep for herself to help out with her daughter. She was so overwhelmed and thanked and hugged us all. She just couldn't stop ...

A travel blog entry by dac7265 on Dec 11, 2013

Woke up early this morning around 6 AM to find my roof leaking. I heard splashing and thought it was raining only to find my AC vent was leaking with a small flood on the floor. The property management is in until 8:30 so I headed to the beach for a morning run. Once back from my run I had breakfast then to ...

Koh Samui - a much needed chill out

We had another two days of travelling to get to Koh Samui, with a few hours to kill in Bangkok before catching the train down south to the islands. We had heard that there was a 4DX cinema in one of the shopping centres so we thought we'd give it a try. As we stepped out of the train station the familiar stench and heat hit us like a wall. Good old Bangkok :-) Within ten minutes of walking we passed two drunks/ drug addicts out cold and spread eagled on the pavement lying in their ...
