Centrally located, clean rooms and included bathrooms. Average breakfast. I paid 31 US a night. Nice helpful english speaking staff.
Internet Wi- Fi only worked for me in the lobby. Internet shop next door.

Took the overnight train from Cairo to Aswan. Had planned to stay at the Memnon but was unable to find it so I stayed at the Keylany for a couple of nights. 3. Yellow fever vaccinations really do make you feel **** 5 days after you have them.
4. Climing around inside pyramids gives you really really sore thighs, and the Egyptian equivalent of Deep Heat is not very …

We were woken up on the train by the conductor announcing that brekky would be served shortly, eggs (staple breakfast food), rolls and a piece of cake. Looking out the window we could see the farmers working in the fields - the people here are much darker in colour that the Egyptians in Cairo.. We hopped off the train in Aswan and were met by our …

Arriving in Egypt!

Landing in Cairo was certainly something else. The city just pops up out of the sand, and you're there! A man next to us on the plane asked if it was our first time here, and welcomed us to Egypt. This is kind of a theme, everyone welcomes you to Egypt - and when they welcome you to the new Egypt it's enough to give you …
