      ... Eyes of My Heart’ at a concert!! We also go to overnight prayer services which leave us pretty whacked but are so powerful and pumped up you can’t miss them! Wednesdays and Thursdays evenings is choir practice –the people there are nuts, we generally have a chat and make fun of the conductor than do much singing… Saturday night we sing with the choir at mass and Sunday morning is mass in Wolof with the full congregation of Joal.

      ... later, after some other local security clown asked me 20 questions about my work, address, plans, flights, etc. (few of which I answered truthfully) I got my camera and passport back with the 2 pictures of the cement blocks 150m away from the embassy now deleted. Nothing like finding a little piece of the American police state and fear machine all the way over here in Africa!
