... dotted down the river with locals selling drinks and coconuts. We enjoyed dodging the rocks and splashing through the rapids. We got stuck on quite a few rocks and thrown about but surprisingly no one fell out! All the other boats from the different tour companies kept splashing water at each other. ... I decided it would be wise to stay at the hotel whilst Scott went diving. He left the hotel at 7.30 am this morning. I attempted to sunbathe around 9am but the sun was hiding behind the clouds so I didn't have much luck! I can't believe we are already 25 days into our journey! We stayed until about 17.00 then we headed home quickly to change for dinner at Ku De ta, where we also spent the whole next (and final day) in bali. me and Fabian literarily spent the whole day there, starting with (a very late) breakfast, then delia, patrick and Karina (sarah's youngest sister) joined us for lunch, afternoon drinks and a light dinner for me and fabian before we headed to the airport to continue to singapore!

... its here! Once you cut through all the schoolies rubbish that Aussies give it. No we are not middle aged, or suffering emotional post-divorce trauma. In fact I feel quite the opposite. She may have a ridiculous book title; but in my mind shes right, Bali is the most incredible place to live well, free and in harmonious balance! After The Gilis, we spent a couple of days over on Lombok. We only got as far as Senggigi, please any of you that are reading this.. learn from our mistakes ...
