The flight and bus connections were all very easy, so here I am now in Marmaris, Turkey. I spent all day in the Albatros Marina going over one potential boat purchase, hitch-hiked back to town at end of the day, ...

If we could do it over again we would actually skip the mainstream stuff like the ruins and get a more local intimate look at the villages and produce. ... corner who cooked me a very nice mince meat flat bread. Just after lunch the rain started, very heavy with loud thunder thrown in. The hotel had a power cut. They got the lifts going again fairly swiftly but wifi was out for the day. After the downpour we walked up to the old village which was much quieter but more run down.
