The factory is basically a huge city in Taiwan, with over 9,000 employees who live in dormitories behind the gates and have pretty much all of the shops and things that they need to survive. Unfortunately, the ratio of men to women is 98 to 2. The salary is very good there, up to 150,000 US$ a year ...

... asia! Later we went to a westerners bar up-town. On the way we stopped at 7-11 for some travellers. You will see in this posts video that Steve teaches some Taiwanese kids a Canadian hello! Hahaha. Its kind of funny once the taiwanese kids get a bit of alcohol in them, they become very outgoing and come drink with us! Its kind of cute! They will call both the girls and guys beautiful! They will speak fairly good english but if you try and compliment them they are soooo modest!

... in Taiwan etliche "Schmuddelecken" und das Dach ist nicht dicht...so etwas waere bei uns eben undenkbar. Ausserdem gibt es auch hier die ein oder andere Lehrerin, die eher missmutig und lustlos ist oder einfach nicht so gut ausgebildet. Alles in allem ist es aber wirklich ein sehr gutes Projekt und es ist sehr interessant ein Jahr hier zu sein und Einblicke in die verschiedenn Bereiche der sozialen Kinder- und Jugendarbeit zu bekommen.
