Our sponsor put us up in an RV park for the night, which made us feel like royalty! Haha...it was such a beautiful, quiet, and perfect place for us to stay, that we booked two more nights there for our weekend stay. It has four lakes on the property, laundry facilities, showers, and a dumping station. Music to our ears!

... the universality of a smile, a laugh and a quick game of soccer. We continued through the afternoon to both work ourselves and employ some of the Haitians to work with us. It is really hard for a lot of us to just watch, but these people have a lot to share. The day came to a close as we ALL got to shower and put on clean clothes...hooray for luggage!!! Mary just made a quilt for Haitians entitled,"Dream." She is part of the OLV (Our Lady of Victory) parish sewing group for these projects. The sewing group is called the "Busybodies." Ha!
Many of the women in the sewing group are also helpers at the senior lunch so we are getting to know the core group of volunteers in the parish.
