... into the campsite in Richer that we were eying up, to check out this smoke situation and see if they could tell us where the fires were that were causing so much smoke. Apparently there are really bad fires right now in Eastern and North Eastern Manitoba, and the wind had just changed today to bring all of the smoke in. ... Lake is a huge maze of a lake.
There are many islands dotted throughout and without the expert
guidance of Mel, I would be stranded on an island playing Castaway as
I have no clue how to operate a map and compass. The weather

I crossed over the boarder into Ontario and stopped at the Tourist Info Centre where the girl loaded me up with info on camping, parks, cities etc. I have a lot of reading to do!
