I went for a walk up to Paceville at 2.30pm in order to get some lunch. You could tell that Paceville is more exclusive than St. Julian’s or Sliema (the clue is the dominant Hilton skyscraper).

... was at the Siege Bell which commemorates the 700 soldiers lost in the Second World War. Here, I rested for a while as my feet were really starting to ache.

After a well earned rest, I headed towards Fort St. Elmo which occupies the end of the Vallettan peninsula. I then popped my head into the War Museum before following the road back into Valletta which offered me magnificent view of the Marsamxett Harbour and Sliema.

... weaving, etc... It was fun. After about a 3 hour lunch, most of us were sitting at our tables completely incoherent. Then, it was time to get back on the bus and head to the airport. Our flight left around 8pm and we arrived (a little late) back in Madrid around midnight. Boy, did I sleep that night!
