    ... now. Looks like we'll be landing in Venice in about an hour and a half. Hope our luggage figured out how to get there. BTW, even though the WIFI logo is on the plane when you enter, that doesn't mean that there is WIFI on the plane. I am pleased to report that this flight at least has personal TV monitors and a wonderful selection of movies. So far I've seen Winter's Tale, Tim's Vermeer and a Whoppi Goldberg documentary about Moms Mobbly. I've napped a bit ...

    ... this flat bottomed boat suited this type of lagoon....they were used for transporting everything, everywhere. They are not "punted" as I thought they were because the water is too deep; they are actually rowing boats, so they are rowed using one oar (not a pole). Nowadays there are about 400 in use and just for tourists. Yes, they are very sleek and way more luxurious than I ever imagined with what looked like velvet cushion ...

    ... this is obviously a very popular spot with tourists. Edie manages to telephone her sister Norma to check on her family. We haven't been in touch since leaving Sicily. We drive back to Corfu town by a different route but the scenery is the same. As in Dubrovinic there is an old town area which is where we are taken.     ... places with Zoe in the boat I was one of the few still keen to jump in and swim. That's when I got pushed in by the hot raft man. I got water up my nose and the water was just as freezing as the first two times. I took so many scenic shots of Austria while on the bus continuing to Venice.
