Arrived safe and sound at the Kenilworth Inn. I was reminded once again why I hate traveling over the GW Bridge into New Jersey. Too confusing and you have to make snap decisions to either go the right way or avoid being killed in a car accident. Signing off until the airport tomorrow. We leave at noon. Wish us a short TSA experience. Ciao!

... we walked back to our meeting place for the SUV taxi to take us to Central park in Manhattan. We thought we would walk around the park but there were lots of horse and carts so we decided to take a 45 minute horse and cart around the park which was a good idea because the park is huge. See the pic of David and I with our horse and cart. The horse and cart ride was lots of fun. Central Park is a good walk from our hotel so we walked back doing a spot of window shopping. ...

... tunes, we went to see Grand Central Station Terminal and it's grand concourse, and took in the outside of the Chrysler Building, before heading home to get some decent rest before our flights the following day.

New York was so fantastic, and so much fun, but we still feel like we barely scratched the surface of what was on offer. There are famous sights in Manhattan we didn't go to, such as the Top of the Rock at the Rockefeller Centre, and Madison ...

... The night ended with a guy coming Into my new,new room at 3am because he had been given the wrong key! Hostels must come with a health and safety warning!! A new day and the city is starting to grow on me! If you want to set yourself a challenge, tell yourself to locate a shop that sells a sleeping bag haha!! I spent the majority of the day doing this and didn't mind at all! Strolling around Downtown, taking in the ...

Last day for this leg of the trip. Perfect way to spend it exploring Central Park and its zoo made famous in the Madagascar movies. The kids found quite a few of their favorites including a lot of penguins but no lions, hippos, giraffes, or zebras. Outside the kids did some rock scaling while I worried if we could still make our flight if one of the kids had to go to the ...
