... served to us by a very grumpy waitress, by the river. We gave her our bronze change as a tip- good way to get rid of it. Wasps were a constant threat throughout the meal, a few knocked over chairs and screams as the wasps flew near our meals. All tired when we got back and so ready to jump in the lake. ... amazed that a single rower was all it took to take us into the centre of the lake and over to the island. In the middle of the church is a rope hanging down from the Wishing Bell. I was really looking forward to a sound night's sleep last night; unfortunately, it was not to be. I had forgotten to check both mobiles and tablets for recurring alarms, with the result that Squirt's mobile alarm went off at 2am, then her tablet at 3am, both of which she managed to sleep through but left me wide awake. ... after taking the Golden Fleece, were on they way back to Greece when they took a wrong turn and ended up in what is now Ljublijana. They were confronted by a dragon, slew it and continued on their way. St. George, who also slew a dragon, is the Patron Saint of the castle, and the city. The city emblem is the Dragon, and there is the Dragon Bridge, guarded by four fierce dragons. Gotta love it!
