There's something quite satisfying about writing our last travel blog from Slovenia. It shows that our trip may be over, but there are still more trips to come. ... That is one thing Washington DC is so lacking in. I would have bought a bunch of salami and brought them back to the States but the immigration people would have been all over that and it would have been confiscated so I did not bother buying any of the dried meats even though I so wanted to.

On route to Lake Bled we stopped over in Lubljana for dinner. It was a small town and was very quiet on the Sunday because most the shops were closed.
