After that we meandered through The Lanes and into North Laine, such cute and quirky little stores to window shop at.

We made our way to the Brighton gallery and museum at The Dome and then took a spin around the Royal Pavilion. What a wonderful and ostentatious example it is. ... for our next and last train of the day. We paid one way for the Underground and it cost GBP9.40 for two people which we saw as exorbitant for Zone 1. We clearly need to buy an Oyster card as we understand that would have been cheaper. At Victoria we purchased (return) tickets for Brighton – our last stop of the day.
