In the afternoon, Kyle had to go to camp, so we dropped him off at the weekend christian camp, there were tons of ten year old boys running around mental, and wee Holly packed a sad cause she was too young to stay over night. However after some pizza, loom banding, and going to see her daddy play in the pub seemed to cheer her up no end.
Still, after a busy day I am looking forward to bed.
... are as crazy for loom bands as everyone else, so we've been making bracelets for almost 3 days straight now. I even learned a new weaving technique! These seven year olds are way better than me.
The jet lag is still pretty strong though. When I said I was going to bed at 10 past six, the kids looked at me like I was messing with them. They were kind of surprised when I actually went to bed.
The next few days were spent washing our travel stuff, settling back in our apartment (and enjoying our comfort, especially the clean toilets & the nice shower with pressure!), food shopping and cooking (first time in 6 months!), as well as strolling through Brighton, basically trying to get back to our routine.
I went back to work after the bank holiday weekend (6 May) whilst Jason stayed at home until his own return to work (14 May). ...
... and they're black. They're lying on the bottom of the mug that you drink your milk tea from and you're able to get them out from the mug with a huge straw! :P I had a coconut flavour, and if I'm going to be honest, I can't really be sure what I think about the whole thing...

... tour the place; it has a unique style and I can see how it would have been impressive in its time.
After touring the pavilion I wandered around The Lanes for a bit, poking my head in various shops, but before long I have to return my car to the rental company and then catch my train back to London.
