Another set of goodbyes, a smooth train journey to Gatwick in the middle of the night and a long, sleepless few hours in the terminal waiting area before I could go through security and bag checks. Ghana has had no reported cases of Ebola and there is a whole country in between the affected areas and Ghana. I would not have taken my 14 year old (was 15 when we went) brother and my mum to Ghana if I though there was going to be any risk at all. Currently Ghana is very safe with no reported cases of Ebola.
