The day started off true to forecast with light rain, which was ok for us as it was a transfer day and we would use it to research Paris which looks rather complicated, and also rest and make the most of our splurge hotel.

... judging by the way she spoke to the other person. Luckily that was not the case and she guaranteed us someone would show up, but she said to walk slowly as it would take a few minutes for them to come. By the time we got back to the hotel the gentleman was already there and was very kind about the whole situation. We lugged our bags up the tiniest spiral staircase, open the door and collapsed. Needless to say, we were beyond exhausted.
