... guy and his mate were a bit dodgy, and then it all made sense when he told me he was a car sales man. this time since i got there so fast (160 km/hr) i figured i would splerge and pay for a taxi into town so i could find a place before dark.

after scoping out a few places i decided on staying at ninova pension in the old part of town. negotiated 70TL for two nights including breakfast. hopefully i will hear back from ...

We toured the ruins, I stuck my toe into the Med, and then retreated back for a little siesta. We had a time change last night, and kinda screwed my clock up.

We plan on staying here 2 nights, then on to Kas.

Si daca ma plictisesc de plaja si vreau sa ma plimb, in Delta bunaoara sau in Muntii Macinului, va trebui sa conduc din nou pe aceleasi drumuri proaste 100 de km in nord. Din Antalya poti ajunge in 2 ore la Istambul, Cipru sau Ierusalim. Ma roaga ...

though at first we couldn't believe that the boat that looked so small
and common, like all the other boats in the harbor, would be big enough

... Tenielle to her first Hamam (Turkish bath) though - which of course she absolutely loved. Needless to say we got out sooner than we had planned and headed to Fethiye, an awesome relaxed town whose motto is "come for a day, stay for a week". We only stayed 6 days - now we're on holiday ha ha.
