    ... Cheng Do took one and half hours each way and as we were sailing again at 2pm, there was not a lot of time on our hands. The visits were to two temples and to a shopping street / market (although the closest we got to the latter was a drive through the precinct).

    ... properly - travelling at weekends is always a race against the clock.
    After that, I spent a while on the island just standing on the beach staring at the sea hoping to see dolphins again - but no luck! It was a lovely place - beautiful buildings and gardens/parks. Everything was overpriced though.     ... big things, little things and long things. Don't ask me! I haven't yet found pictures of some of them on the Internet in order to work out what we have eaten. Most have been delicious.     ... s big Buddah and lots of other ones on the side, I would tell you who they were but the tour leader had good but broken English which made it hard for getting the correct pronunciation!! We meandered our way through other Temples gradually climbing lots of stairs along the way. The last area to go was to s huge big rock with something to do with Buddah written on it, there was more climbing to do to get up to the top but that was as far as our tour leader went. ...
