Unterwegs Richtung Fredericton

Enjoying the Capital of NB

... looked foreboding so we decided not to unload the bikes. However, we did set out on foot, crossed the river, and explored some of the paths and learned more about the history of Fredericton. We visited a museum and learned about an historical character named Alexander “Boss” Gibson, an industrialist in the 1800’s who instigated the formation of the community of Marysville - a factory town that provided employment ...

Running on empty in the middle of nowhere.

Leaving Quebec City...on the road to somewhere or was that nowhere? We didn't know where we would stop for the night. The destination would be somewhere around Fredericton, New Brunswick. That would give us a short drive tomorrow to reach our destination...Prince Edward Island. The drive through Quebec was uneventful. We stopped at the New Brunswick Welcome Center and ate some lunch. We continue on and then I notice that the ...

Back home, time to recap

... and really I cant pick one. We did so much ridiculous stuff in our 16 days there, its unreal. I give GAP adventures great reviews for its itinerary, and our egyptian guide. I want to write about any other little things about my trip, the culture over there, the folks I met and odd moments. Unfortunately, I'm really tired of writing! I'll update this entry as I find time with stuff, maybe when I add pics to all of my blogs, yeah...

6 days till d-day...

... really looking forward to being thrust into this mayhem and being completely out of my comfort zone surrounded by some of the most stunning buildings and landscapes in the world. I'm also excited to meet new people and hopefully stay in touch in the future. Finally, I look forward to updating this blog more than once during the length of the trip, unlike my Europ trip in 07! See ya in Cairo!

... the notebook. The people working there KNOW me now I'm like a legend, I wouldn't be surprised if they all applauded when I finally got a flight out. Sooo I fly to Montréal, which is a huge confusing airport. Which is even bigger when your there alone without a flight plan. I eventually sort it out and get into the ticket line the man behind the counter is giving me stanby options saying that none of them have ...

The creation of 'Kiddmas'

Leialoni caught me on a laundry run and dragged me into helping her decorate our hallway wall for hallwars. We ended up being the only ones decorating our wall cause "no one was around". More like, "no one wanted to be found". Unfortunately I didnt know what was going on so she caught me. and I ended up missing Grey's, according to Shaye it was a good episode too. ugh. anyway we started around 8:30 PM and finished...ohhh ...

... 9 hours, which is great because Tony says that with all the rain, the inside of the car has taken on the atmosphere of the mountain lodge in "The Shining" to him. Things are definately getting more populated as we drive...and also more French. Tony's favorite thing so far: Whale Watching Megan's favorite thing so far: PEI Beaches Picture Count to date: 296

Princeville to Edmunston

En route for Liverpool Nova Scotia.

We were required at work to sign papers that forbade us to travel in a long haul truck; management changed and I slipped through the crack, escaping the signature of any papers; I was still liable to loose my job if my bosses caught wind of me traveling to Nova Scotia. Stubborn French woman that I am, I jumped in anyways!

Somewhere within the convoy, the news leaked, but I kept my job, although evicted from my bosses fan club !
