... traverse it for a couple days I would guess. We will pass near the spot where the Malaysian Airbus went down a few months ago. There have been large and small container ships passing us, so it is a well travelled important shipping route. So every half hour I have to rise and photo a different freighter in front of Mt Agung. The sea is once again glassy flat and both the sea and air temperature are 30 degrees.

... our technically domestic flight and the queue at the Lion Air check-in counters at a minimum. Now with time to kill we picked up some lunch before making our way through security. Initially we made our way through passport control which was the slowest we have ever experienced before walking through beeping security scanners without anyone stopping us. ... Rob and Nadira. The food was some of the best I have tasted, I had lamb chops with fried potatoes and a balsamic glaze sauce, delicious!! Rob and Nadira very kindly bought several bottles of wine, and we made a very jolly foursome.
