Saturday we all went shopping and then cooked food at home, me and Anna bought amazing salads from a big supermarket in the area as we've been craving a decent salad for so long now!!!! Saturday night us four girls went out again. First stop was sky bar, which is a very posh and expensive bar overlooking the city centre of Jakarta and had amazing views... ... salads. The carvery was buffet style, as in you could eat as much as you wanted, and believe me I ate a lot. For a western restaurant the meal was rather cheap only $20 for all you can eat and the food was delicious.

After Mad Dog I returned to my dads work and briefly had a Starbucks coffee before return to home when I ended up spending the rest of the day reading my girly books under the air-conditioning. ...

... have opted for an upgrade to a cabin, think we will just slum it out with the other 3rd class peasants. So how do you fill in 30 hours of your time, cards and lots of it. ... painless process. This must have left me in shock, as my life had unaccountable hours shaved off it. I simply must have exclaimed, "Is that it?" to the lady in the ticket office, and then continued to stand there, stunned for the best part of two hours. One shall never know. We found a new place to stay this morning, Nick's Corner Hostel (16 Jl Jaksa). It is a twin room with a separate bathroom in an old office building and isn't the nicest, but it costs 90,000 per night so we're happy to save the money! Again, however, the ceilings are too high to put up our mosquito nets but fingers crossed it won't be too bad.
