... a huge tub of tomato paste in it (thinking it was tinned tomatoes) added an unknown tub of sauce (it was delish - with alot of cumin in!!) added brinjals and a tin of peas, and ate that with the most gorgeous bread that you get everywhere in Turkey!!! It was divine!!! We have loved going into the supermarket here - its called Bims. Jeez, but this Turkish lingo is a very difficult language to decipher!! ... sides, but mainly to do with deadly Australians such as sharks, crocs, spiders, stingers etc!! On the way home we were entertained by an old gentlemen balancing bottles, doing rope tricks and then belly dancing for us...he invited me to join him and of course I couldn't resist...even got a few cheers from the mostly Turkish crowd. ... boat over our final 4 days here, I have reflected on the last 4 weeks. I have enjoyed being in Turkey and been lucky enough to go to some amazing places I wouldn't have seen otherwise but I'm tired of the coastline, all the rock and pine trees, the constant buzz of Cicadas and the heat!
