A travel blog entry by jennifer63 on Aug 11, 2014

Great to get back on the bike today, er um for about 10 minutes. The temperature rose to 42.5 in no time and our Rukka textiles are not suited to this, we were literally baking inside our gear. Reluctantly but necessary, I took off my jacket and rode in a t-shirt for the first time ever, it was bliss but sooooo unsafe. A waterfall spouting ...

The nominations for the "Don't Panic" award was Dave for not panicking while reversing into a small space, and not panicking when he lead us up the wrong path. Bethany for falling out of the canoe while trying to take off her shorts, and Simon for getting knocked into the water by a rope . The winner was Dave ...

... vacant ever since. The wooden structures have perished leaving behind the stone walls and walkways.

It was pretty spooky walking around the place as the sun was setting but also very peaceful and we all enjoyed a great Turkish meal at a restaurant close by and a hair raising taxi ride back to the beach where our tender was parked.

The remainder of the week followed much the same format... breakfast service and then sailing somewhere for the guests ...
