Spent the next two days on Ko Lanta topping up the tan and chilling out in the pool. Mick re-wrote the bible story and tweaked the theory of evolution whilst i was just happy to have a read and a swim!! The minivan to Ko Lanta was a little bit early - this is very unusual for Asia, they are usually at least 30 minutes late. We had booked it through the I-Taloy guesthouse where we had stayed the night before, at only 200 THB per person it was a cheaper alternative to the ferry and we didn't have to get to the ferry port!The driver circled Krabi …

I rented a scooter for 10 cdn dollars and I was off to discover Lanta. My first stop was the village of Lobahra and the Mangrove Forests. As I approached the Mangroves I could see the rain approaching on the horizon. For the first time in 3 weeks I felt a cool breeze. It was short lived, but marvelous ;)

sorry it's taken me ages to update again, only spent 2nights on koh lanta and cause we didn't have long there, I didn't have much use of the net (excluding fb which is always a priority!) The mosquitoes there are brutal... All of my bites (I'd say about 20-nothing compared to hayleys 40 though) went gross and blistered :( they are loads better now …

    Our Bungalow was clean, AC, just steps from the beach and a very good price.
    We paid 650 baht a night in the of season.
