... why I wasn't taking video sooner I'll never know. But I am now. However, I have to pay $0.60/minute for internet so I will probably wait to upload all the photos until the end of the trip when I'm at a regular internet place.
Hope you all are also having a fabulous and relaxing week. And if you're not, take a deep breath and remember, "We're all going to the same place. We're going to get there. Just relax." I'm hoping that was calming and not just morbid. :)
... there was another rally this time the Prime minister was making a speech in the square we decided not to hang around for it but went to collect our bags and go for some soulvakli.

Just a quick note. Spent a fabulous day on Corfu. This is what you think of when you think of Greece. We rented motor bikes and crusied the island. I will update more when we get back to Rome on Tuesday.
Love to all,
Davo and Janet
Still grey in a.m. Decide to move on: thinking of visiting Corfu, if weather good. En route to ferry port, call in on Dodoni - oldest site of religious worship in Greece. Miraculously, another Euro-free day!Oracle pre-dates Delphi; devoted to both Gaiaa & Zeus. Impressive C3rd BC amphitheatre - capacity of 17,000 - & whole setting very dramatic. Remote, though: you ...
Igoumenitsa, Epirus, Greece marcdolav... to the nearby church named Kommeno. This is a breathtaking church. No view could compare. Definitely a location to consider for the ceremony. We proceeded to act as if we were not excited about the place and asked many wedding questions pertaining to the facility. To our shock, we were told that the usage fee for our ceremony would cost one thousand euro. Now, this is a Greek Orthodox Church, and though it ...
Corfu, Greece odysseyrevealed... to use this little coloured token things, how annoying! Hung out with Adrie mostly (short for Adriana, she's another House music lover from Brisbane, hilarious chick! She always came out with the most outrageous calls and had the funniest phrases). The night ended with 5 of us, including Louis, piling into a taxi with THE CRAZIEST cab driver who I think was trying to beat a landspeed record! Matt thought it was ureal. I'm surprised we made it back to the resort in one piece!
Corfu, Greece katspoons... roadside vantage point. Turning off the engine for a moment, all I could hear was the sound of birds and the cicadas. Further up the road still, I passed through the village of Strinylas where elderly Greeks sat on chairs in the street and my passing was noted with interest. I raised my hand to a few of them by way of greeting and they returned the gesture with a smile. Still, I felt guilty about driving through, disturbing the peace with the engine's high ...
