Great tour, appreciation of Bulgaria

Hristina (pronounce Christina) is a delightful woman and great tour guide. She feels good that Bulgaria is in the EU because she feels that someone in the EU is watching Bulgaria’s economy and she has more confidence. She feels that Bulgaria has come a long way since the Soviet era. It was hard to see in the overcast 58degree day, but Bulgaria is a hugely popular summer resort area.

On thus cruise from Istanbul circumnavigating the Black Sea we travelled a distance of 1689 nautical miles, cruised a total of 144 hours, visited 9 ports of call in 7 countries, crossed 1 time zone losing shop, crossed back a I me zone catching up on lost sleep, had to shop in 7 different currencies and made 77 new friends!
