With our successors learning the ropes alongside us we will have time for some adventures of our own before we return to the UK The main event will be Romania in August hopefully-as far as the Black Sea. It is a country trying to move forward from the years under communism and its neglect of the welfare of the people. There are new infrastructures that can be seen but few and far between. Our last station in Hungary we had a change of guards with another check of our ...

The landscape here reminds me of Switzerland, and our little spot looks out over green meadows, a lake, lush forests and snow topped mountains. Pretty and relaxing, but a bit cold. We stayed here last year, and our sweet landlady was as happy to see us as we were to see her. ...
