Corfu was surprisingly warm today, around the mid 70s, which was warm enough for us to spend some time at the Aqualand water park. I've never been to a larger water park and we make is just in time before they closed for the winter. Me and my buddies played around until it began to get cool towards the late afternoon.
This morning we visited the ...
... bumped and pushed and cut in front of and argh. It's like, ya'll, we're going to the same place. Relax. We're going to get there. Ugh. But, I'm trying to forgive and be forgiven. But I have to admit I've cursed like 19 of them prior to the whole forgiving thing.
Tonight was our first formal night. It was really fun. I absolutely loved seeing all the older folks dressed up. So many of them went all out with tuxes, or 'old-person' ruffled suits and bow ties. And ...

Levels 15 and 16 have swimming pools, bars, spa pools, tennis court, mini golf, beauty spa, gym, kids club, disco and an often frequented gelato spot, which serves the biggest tubs we have seen yet.

This is where we would be spending the evening it was an overnight boat and should take 8 hours I was not impressed that I would be spending the evening ...

There is a town north of Corfu and it's really cool, but it's a village in some way.Though, I did visit the Corfu town and I must say it is AMAZING. All those fortresses and fancy resturants and bars were a total hit! Everybody was so relaxed, people aren't that stressed at all. I ...
Corfu Town, Ionian Islands, Greece indianabones... the joke)
-the first substantial misunderstading of a whasname
Smitty: Whasname (Jess) has a boyfriend
Bosh [assuming Whasname was L-Bow]: Ah ****...

... the government-defined poverty line of $2 per day... or $830 per year. The visit, although only a few days, was very interesting. A country, which geographically is really close to the center of Europe, with beautiful beaches, mountainous inland cities and a long coastline ... yet soooo impoverished. Why... standard story... corrupt, restrictive dictatorships for many decades... The communist country lost every political bet possible through the 40 year ...
Saranda and Tirana, Albania mjlankers... tongues of flame swept across the hillside and there was a occasional flare-up as an unfortunate tree was consumed. A village lay in the path of the flames but, looking more closely, I realised it was an abandoned village. It must have been Old Perithea, abandoned by inhabitants fed up with being attacked by pirates back in the Byzantine era.
There were ...
