... I went to Phuket. I had that free weekend that I won at the St. George’s Ball last year and had to use it before the end of the month. The hotel was fabulous. Friday night we didn’t feel like going anywhere so we had a really nice buffet dinner at the hotel. Everything was in small individual cups, which was great for portion control! After dinner we both crashed.
Saturday morning we had a nice buffet breakfast which was included in ...
... sea was too rough to really enjoy snorkeling and the sun was not out so the fish and coral will not be as bright. I gave Cob a 500baht tip and thanked him for his assistance on the the two trips we had with him.
Back to the room a beer and a relaxing Thai massage with the waves crushing on to the shore and the breeze in the trees how can one leave. Up to Jasmin's for lunch sat talking with Peter and had chicken wings and yes Spring Rolls 2 singha's, then back to the comfort of the ...

The cabin crew starting to get everything away and make the necessary checks and turn the main lights off before taking their seats and we could hear the landing gear unfold. No light inside the plane accentuated the lighting flashes across the sky and the plane jerked left and right as we hit some turbulence, then it made a ...

Koh Phi Phi, Thailand jimandnatThis week was pretty quiet. The second class joined us this weekend, and they started this week. We had the early shift, starting at 8 - 2. Had to get up really early but it did mean when we finished we could go straight to the beach. Actually started to get a proper tan now after 3 weeks!! On Monday, we had a dinner with the other class at the hotel where we do our teaching. It was good to meet them as we may be ...

... also invited people they have met while traveling. I think the main thing is that we dress up as pirates to certain competitions and cover the town and beach looking for the buried treasure. We are currently on Tonsai beach and yesterday Tom, Jake, Jesse, Scott, Andy and my lovely self swam to Railay beach, which took about twenty minutes, it was very safe and fun. It's been pretty rainy today, so making a ...
Ao Nang, Thailand bernie-s... ourselves on a sunset cruise, which included: kayaking (again!!), snorkelling, swimming to and walking on Ao Maya (the beach). We chose this tour as we'd heard that during the morning it is so busy with 1000's of long boats & people. The cruise was pretty amazing and as we thought it wasn't very busy at all. The snorkelling was cool, lots of different types of fish & coral. The best bit by far was swimming onto Phi Phi Leh & ...

There were a couple of small power boats there when we arrived but they soon left. We had a lovely sheltered bay all to ourselves. We spent a while snorkelling around the coral near the shore and went for a walk alomg the beach before dinner. A lovely spot!

The closest I have come to a motorcycle is standing outside on a street next to one. I rent my own, and Travis rents one and has Chelsea ride on the back. When I pull out of the driveway of the place we rented it at (which by way costs about 3.00 USD per day to rent, with NO INSURANCE NECESSARY OR THAI DRIVING LICENSE) I accidentally ...
