A travel blog entry by jw.jm.travel on Oct 22, 2014

Today we are leaving the mainland of Thailand and flying down to the islands where we will spend the remainder of our 30 day visa. Lunch is after a short trip to pick up some dvd's we'd ordered. Today, ...

... quick tour of the area.

So this was it for our time in Thailand - what had started out so beautifully in Chiang Mai quickly descended to the lowest of the lows, but things have definitely looked up for us in Kata. It's easy to say that we would never come back to Thailand because of what happened, but that's really not true - I'm a firm believer in not blaming the greater whole for the sins of the tiny minority. The bottom line is that Thai people are amazing, ...

... The thunder and lightening is so loud and bright, its really scary! It sounds like its only a few metres above! We decide to make a run for it as it doesnt look like its gonna stop any time soon. We have our showers and towel off and order room service. Its a quiet night in tonight, we have an 8am tour booked for tomorrow, cant wait to see what Phuket is like and hopefully the weather improves!! Goodnight Jeremy and Juanita ...
