Bright and early we were packed and ready to be picked up by CHAT tours for our 4 day land tour to ancient sites. Lila is our guide and luckily we can understand her English well. Our bus has about 25 people. More than we had hoped. They combined the 3 day and 4 day trips. Athens traffic was awful and at this point I am glad we chose not to drive ourselves ( we were highly leaning towards a self tour at first). First stop the Corinth Canal. We stood on the bridge ...

We decided to do a little walking and that turned in to a 1 1/2 hour hike up to a big hill in Hydra. We came back and rested for a bit. After putting on sunscreen we headed for the beach. We bought a snorkel and floaty to ...

... decided due to the crowding that occurs in the tiny harbor to take the Flying Dolphin ferry to see this beautiful village. We arrived late morning at Hydra after the short trip from Poros. Orca we had left tied up alongside of Jonathon’s boat for the day.

The ferry did not return to Poros until five thirty that evening so we had the whole day to explore the village and the many paths and alleys. The sun was warm and the sky was cloudless making for a ...
