    ... which is now a luxury!) I washed my dirty clothes, washed the bugs off the front of Lily and then waxed it to try to prevent less bug stickage!! So, that was all yesterday. Today, I have spent literally the whole day driving round holland being sent from place to place to get things fixed.     ... almost 5 languages... At any rate, it turns out the Dutch are known for certain culinary traditions. Perhaps one of the best known is the lunch/dinner savory pancake. I ordered one of these pancakes from a list of about 20 different kinds at 'Het Zwaantje' with a big glass of Belgian beer.
    The menu was in Dutch so our meal had to be delayed while Erika's request for an English menu was searched for, discovered, and then grudgingly brought to the table. I ...

    ... introduced us to a drink called dark & stormy, (rum & ginger beer)
    and later that night, well 3am, it certainly was, dark & stormy I mean. We had the loudest
    thunderstorm I've ever heard, with forked lightening & torrential rain. The earth moved! We stayed dry. Our modifications have worked!
