    From Volendam we travelled across The Afsluitdijk which is a 27km man made road which divided the sea and created a giant lake whilst solving The Netherlands problems of continuos flooding.     ... and I retreated to the apartment where we showed them our 'party' photos. Soon we were ready for sleep. It was not such a peaceful night in the tent as the wind and rain continued throughout the night.
