    We stopped at the port of Corfu. The only way to really get around the island is to take an excursion. At least it was for us. We were going to see a Monastery in the village of Palaiokastritsa and to the village of Gastouri to visit the 19th century Achilleion Palace.
    The places were very beautiful and again the excursions didn't disappoint ...

    ... again towards home. Fortunately, we didnt get lost this time.
    At 9, after a restorative siesta, we set off towards a restaurant in the Jewish quarter. On the way we passed a lane of Tavernas packed out with locals. The restaurant we had wanted to visit was open, but entirely empty. Not liking the vibe, we doubled back to one of the tavernas we'd passed. This was a wise choice.
